After introducing the HONOR V Purse at IFA 2023, the firm announced the foldable in China earlier today. The V Purse boasts a unique outward folding screen with a thinner design measuring less than 9 mm when folded, making it 10.1% thinner than the HONOR Magic V2.
It has a 7.71-inch foldable OLED panel with 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming technology, and in the unfolded state, it is 6.45 inches. HONOR is using the older Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC on this foldable. It also has an 8MP front camera inside the notch and dual rear cameras consisting of a 50MP main and 12MP ultra-wide lens.
The V Purse transforms the foldable phone into a fashion statement with customizable always-on displays that mimic a handbag’s look, complete with chains, feathers, and tassels that move with the phone. You can also change its straps and wear it like a regular purse or handbag.

The HONOR V Purse comes in camellia gold, glacier blue, and elegant black colors and is priced at 5999 yuan (USD 822 / Rs. 69,755 approx.) for 16GB + 256GB and 6599 yuan (USD 904 / Rs. 75,343 approx.) for 16GB + 512GB models. The smartphone is already available for limited pre-sale via HONOR China online store.
