Redmi K60 Ultra with 144Hz 1.5K OLED display, Dimensity 9200+, up to 24GB RAM to be announced on August 14

After teasers, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Redmi K60 Ultra (Extreme Edition) smartphone in China on August 14th, along with other devices.

The company has already confirmed that it will come with 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution flat OLED screen. It also said that it has achieved 1.77 million points on AnTuTu.

The phone will come with a second 1.5K flagship flat green that uses China Star’s latest C7 luminescent material, so the power consumption is greatly reduced, and it gets up to 2600 nits peak brightness, as well as 2880Hz ultra-high Frequency PWM dimming, as well as comprehensive eye protection.

It will be powered by Dimensity 9200+ chip and a dedicated X7 chip from Pixelworks for the best visual and gaming experience. The phone will come with up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It will be the first Redmi phone with IP68 dustproof and waterproof ratings.

The new teaser confirms 50MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and should come with an ultra-wide camera and a macro camera. The phone has already been certified, revealing 120W fast charging, same as the K60 Pro.

We should know other details, including the price of the phone, when it goes official next week.
