Update: vivo has confirmed the launch of vivo V29e smartphone in India on August 28th. The company has also confirmed 58.7-degree curved screen, and the company claims that it has the slimmest 3D curved screen in the 25k-30k price segment.
The Artistic Red edition’s back has classic diamond crystals combined with the radiance of the shimmering texture to create a perfect balance in this luxurious design masterpiece, said the company. This also has a color changing glass.
It has a 7.57mm Ultra Slim Body, 2.29 mm One-Piece Narrow Frame and 180.5g Lightweight Design.
The phone will come with a 50MP Eye Auto Focus Selfie camera, which the company says is the highest in its price range, and advanced autofocus technology. It will feature a 64 MP rear camera with OIS and night portraits.
Earlier: vivo has started teasing the launch of V29e, the next phone in the V29 series, in India soon. The company calls it the design masterpiece with eye-catching colors, artistic design, sleek and light body.
The renders of the phone surfaced a few days back, revealing the design. Based on reports, it will come with a color-changing glass back and an ultraslim body. The image also shows a 3D curved display with a punch-hole display design for the front camera.
The phone is rumoured to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage options. Geekbench database revealed Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC codenamed Holi, which is likely Snapdragon 480 5G or 480+ 5G SoC.
Since the company has started teasing the phone, we can expect the launch to happen sometime later this month.
It will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to vivo.com and offline stores. We should know more details, including the launch date in the coming days.
