Xiaomi Civi 3 with Dimensity 8200-Ultra, dual-tone design to be announced on May 25


Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Civi 3, the company’s next Civi smartphone in China on May 25th. It is a work of three years of exploration and rapid change, and it will light up the dawn of new trendy mobile phones with a leading attitude, said the company.

The company has partnered with global trend forecasting agency WGSN that matches the key colors of 2023: Rose Purple, Mint Green, Adventure Gold and Coconut Grey.

Last week, Xiaomi confirmed that it has partnered with MediaTek for Dimensity 8200-Ultra, so more than 30 Xiaomi imaging functions are implemented in the phone.

Geekbench listing revealed 12GB of RAM, and the phone is expected to feature up to 512GB storage. According to leaker Digital Chat station, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will feature 32MP+32MP dual front cameras which could be Samsung S5KGD2 sensor, centered dual-hole screen, 120Hz AMOLED screen.

The teaser shows 50MP rear camera with OIS, which is said to be Sony IMX800 sensor, along with two more cameras. The phone is expected to use a plastic frame and pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
