After rumours, ASUS has confirmed the launch of ROG Phone 7, the company’s next gaming phone in India and global markets on April 13th. This comes a little early this year compared to ROG Phone 6 which was introduced in July 2022.
The teaser image from Taiwan reveals two phones. However, based on earlier rumours, the company might release ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7D and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, all with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 165Hz AMOLED Screen.
The ASUS AI2205_D model that surfaced earlier this month with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 16GB of RAM and Android 13 is said to be the ROG Phone 7D. It is not clear if the company is planning for the Dimensity 9200 version of the phone.
The ASUS ROG Phone 7 launch event starts at 8PM Taipei time and at 5:20PM IST in India on April 13th. We can expect a separate live stream for India revealing the pricing.
We should know more details about the ROG Phone 7 series, including the specifications, as the phone gets certified in the coming weeks.
