Xiaomi introduced the Mi Pad 5 along with Mi Pad 5 Pro back in 2021, and a larger Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro arrived last year, now the specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro have surfaced, thanks to tipster Digital Chat Station in China.
According to the leak, both the tablets will feature about 11-inch (2880x 1800) screen with 120 or 144Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It is not clear if this will use an LCD screen, similar to the older models, or move to a AMOLED screen.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 could be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC, similar to the Mi Pad 5 Pro and the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro, but the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is expected to get an upgrade to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
We can expect up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage for the tablets, and it could retain the 67W fast charging, but the battery capacity and the camera specifications are not available yet. It looks like the company is not planning to launch a 5G version of the tablet yet, according to the leaker.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro are expected to be introduced sometime in Q2 2023, which is sometime before June, even though the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro was introduced only in the third quarter last year.
