Okinawa and Tacita establish R&D Centre in Europe, Electric Cruiser Motorcycle soon


Okinawa Autotech, a renowned manufacturer of electric two-wheelers in India, announced the opening of their first Research and Development (R&D) center in Europe, located in Italy. The establishment of this center is a result of their strategic partnership with Tacita, and a significant investment of 25 million euros will be made over the next three years.

Plans to invest on new product development including in-house e-powertrain

The new Center of Technology will be led by Tacita Co-Founder, Mr. Pierpaolo Rigo, and work with Okinawa’s R&D team in India. It will bring together top industry talent to improve product performance and design. The global R&D center will concentrate on developing new products, enhancing existing ones, and creating an advanced e-powertrain for future products.

To unveil electric cruiser motorcycle soon in India

The center will employ around 50 experts from India and abroad, and will also have an employee exchange program with Tacita to enhance skills on both domestic and international levels.

The first product to be developed at the global center will be an electric cruiser motorcycle set to be launched in India in the near future. The motorcycle will feature the latest EV technology and top-notch performance in its segment globally.
