Infinix just launched the ZERO ULTRA, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the Zero series in India, as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 6.8-inch 3D Curved FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and India’s first with 180W fast charging.
180W Thunder Charge
The 180W Thunder Charge technology lets you charge the 4500mAh battery in the phone from 1% to 100% in 12 minutes. The ULTRA 8C cell battery that reduces heat and increases the lifetime of the device, says Infinix.
Three parallel charge pumps support the highest powered conversion on an Infinix device to date, which avoids overloads and overheating. GaN technology in the bundled charger allows the 180W Thunder Charge to be resistant to a variety of environments with high temperatures.
The phone is equipped with 111 software and hardware security protection mechanisms made to protect smartphones, chargers and charging cables. Also within the ZERO ULTRA are 20 different types of temperature detections that guard both the phone and the charging cable. These sensors are distributed throughout the USB inputs, charging chips, on the battery, and within other locations inside the device.
The Furious Mode offers extra quick charge, which enables a faster charging speed at a higher phone temperature when compared to the Standard Mode.
Design
The Coslight Silver colour has embossed 3D textured glass depicts dreamy star trails, creating space and rhythm, hearing the cosmic romance by the tension of life. The Genesis Noir has an integrated design of geometry, leather, and glass, pure and simple, and the golden ratio creates a song of ice and fire in the night sweep, says the company.

The phone is powered by Dimensity 920 SoC, has 8GB of RAM with 5GB of RAM with RAM expansion. The phone runs Android 12 with XOS 12. The company promises 2 years of security updates and 1 Android update for the phone. It has a 200MP rear camera with OIS, Auto Focus Double Super PD, along with a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP camera.
