Invendis and MediaTek to introduce 5G and Wi-Fi routers in India

Invendis, a global provider of IoT platforms and cloud computing solutions, and MediaTek, have joined forces to release 5G and Wi-Fi router solutions. This collaboration aligns Invendis Silbo Routers with the AatmaNirbhar Campaign’s “Vocal for Local” effort. The alliance will roll out a broad spectrum of solutions and manufacturers in India.

The newest “Silbo” product range includes 4G/5G routers with Wi-Fi 4/5/6 standards, supporting multi-WAN, VPN, SD WAN, NMS, etc. across business sectors.

The product line includes MediaTek’s networking and connectivity solutions, such as the MT7628K/N/A Router and Repeater Platform, the MT7621A/N Dual-core Network Processor for 2×2/3×3/4×4 Wi-Fi platforms, and the MT7915 Wi-Fi 6 Wave 1+ chipset designs.

Recently, MediaTek’s T830 for 5G routers and mobile hotspots was announced. Besides that, the MediaTek home networking platforms include highly integrated Wi-Fi 4/5 connectivity. This helps maximize the benefits of 5G sub-6GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) connectivity into devices, which is done prior to distributing the internet to users via super-fast Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 wireless or multi-gigabit wired Ethernet connections.

Commenting on the announcement, Satish Kulkarni, CEO of Invendis, said,
