Samsung Galaxy S2 Launched in South Korea


Samsung has launched the much awaited Galaxy S2 in it’s home turf South Korea recently and it’s one of the 1st countries in the world to get it as expected . The device is hitting UK next. The Android Gingerbread phone is the successor to the popular Galaxy S which was a big hit for the company last year.

Samsung will release the phone simultaneously on 3 major Korean operators SKT, KT and LG U+ . The specs of the device include  1.2GHz dual-core processor , HSPA+ 21Mbps (SKT & KT), EVDO Rev. B 9.3Mbps (LG U+), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display,  8MP camera with full HD video recording and playback, DMB(Mobile TV), 1650mAh battery and NFC(Near Field Communication) (SKT & KT only).

The company has also revealed it’s plans to launch the device in 120 countries through 140 operators
