Update: realme has posted a new teaser for the realme Pad that shows the tablet’s ultra sleek profile and its metal body. Another teaser confirms a 10.4-inch (2000 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA+ display with 82.5% screen-to-body ratio.
After teasers and rumours, realme has confirmed the launch of realme Pad, the company’s first tablet in India on September 9th along with the realme 8s and realme 8i smartphones. The company has posted teasers confirming a metal body with a 6.9 mm sleek frame. It adds that it is a high-performance pad that will bring a full-scale audiovisual experience with top-notch sound quality, an amazing screen, an astonishing e-reading experience and will be eye-friendly.
It also said that it will feature a large capacity battery for whole day endurance and a quick charge, and will also come with lots of amazing, compelling features.
Based on earlier rumours, the tablet will feature a Grey and Gold dual-tone finish on the back, single rear camera without flash. The tablet is said to feature a 10.4-inch display with bezels around the screen and pack a 7100mAh battery. It is said to measure 246.1 x 155.8 x 6.8~8.4mm and is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A recent Geekbench listing revealed Helio G80 processor for the tablet.
Earlier renders already revealed quad speakers with two on the top and other two on the bottom along with USB Type-C port. The tablet is also said to feature a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It is said to feature a 8MP camera with f/2.8 aperture both on the front and back, but only the rear camera will be an autofocus camera. Rumours also revealed stylus support, but it is not clear if will have one.
We should know more details about the tablet in the coming days, and the price once it goes official next Thursday. As usual, the tablet will be sold on Flipkart, realme.com and offline stores.
