realme today announced that it has crossed 100 million global smartphone sales in 37 months, since its launch in 2018. It is the fastest mobile phone brand in the world to achieve this, according to Strategy Analytics.
According to Strategy Analytics, realme’s global smartphone growth has been driven strongly by China and India.
- realme grew an impressive +175% HoH in China during the first half of 2021. realme today is the fastest growing smartphone brand in China.
- realme has jumped from zero shipments in India during Q2 2018 to 4th place and a record 14% market share by Q2 2021.

He said that after the launch of realme GT 5G series later this month, realme has plans for multiple GT 5G products this quarter to promote 5G adoption in India. “With the launch of the realme GT 5G series, we are going to disrupt the premium segment, which is our new ambition after our three years of success,” he added.
