Garmin Forerunner 55 GPS Running Watch with up to 2 weeks battery life launched in India for Rs. 20990


Garmin recently introduced a new easy-to-use GPS smartwatch called the Forerunner 55, and now the smartwatch has now launched in India. It features Garmin’s PacePro, built-in GPS, a wide variety of health and wellness tracking sensors, and more.

The Garmin Forerunner 55 was particularly designed with beginners in mind, with a lightweight, sleek design and many features to help users track stats and goals. Its PacePro feature provides tailored guidance to users for selected course or distance, with many stats like finish time estimator, cadence alerts and more.

It comes with a lot of built-in sensors to track various health and wellness metrics such as body stress levels, Body Battery Energy monitor, menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking and more. Along with this, the Forerunner 55 supports text message notifications, assistance and incident detection, and social media alerts. Battery life is rated at up to 2 weeks of battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 20 hours in GPS mode.

The Garmin Forerunner 55 comes in three colours Black, Aqua and Monterra Grey, and is available on Amazon and Flipkart for a price of Rs. 20990.
