OnePlus has announced a partnership with PUBG Mobile to bring exclusive early access support for 90fps in the game on supported OnePlus smartphones. Users worldwide (except Mainland China, Japan, and Korea) will be able to exclusively access the 90fps option from today, August 6th for a period of a month.
While many smartphones feature a 90Hz screen, the list of popular games that support 90fps is quite low. With 90fps, the gaming experience improves significantly, especially in situations like panning, using a scope, running, and searching for other players at a distance.
The supported smartphones include:
- OnePlus 8 series
- OnePlus 7T series
- OnePlus 7 Pro
This comes after OnePlus’ partnership with Epic Games back in May to bring 90fps Fortnite gaming to OnePlus 8 series.
Commenting on the collaboration, Pete Lau, Founder and CEO of OnePlus said:
OnePlus is very close with our community of tech enthusiasts, so we know that mobile gamers are looking for a more immersive and smoother experience. That’s exactly what we are delivering with this exclusive 90 FPS experience with PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most downloaded mobile games. We will continue pushing mobile gaming to new levels through our industry-leading displays, powerful performance, and fast and smooth overall user experience.
