Realme 5 Pro gets a price cut in India, now available starting at Rs. 12999


realme launched the realme 5 Pro last year in India with Snapdragon 712 processor and was launched starting at Rs. 13,999. It was available at a discounted price during the festive season and now, the smartphone has got a Rs. 1000 price cut, and it appears to be a permanent drop.

realme 5 Pro 4GB + 64GB RAM storage variant is now available at Rs. 13,999, against its original price of Rs. 14,999. The 6GB + 64GB variant is now available at Rs. 13,999, against its original price of Rs. 14,999. Similarly, the 8GB + 128GB is now available at Rs. 15,999, against its original price of Rs. 16,999. The revised prices are now reflecting at Flipkart.com and realme.com.

To recall, realme 5 Pro sports has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dewdrop notch display with 90.6% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 712 10nm SoC with up to 8GB RAM, Hyperboost 2.0 with touch boost and frame boost for an enhanced touch control and frame rate while gaming and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0.

It has a 48-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, AI scene recognition, 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots. It has a 16-megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX471 sensor, the same as Realme X. It has a plastic back with a holographic finish and the company has used nano-mirror technique texture. The phone is also Splash resistant to protect the phone from light rain and splashes.

The phone packs a 4035mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging that lets you charge the phone up to 55% in just 30 minutes with the bundled VOOC 3.0 charger in the box and also comes with USB Type-C port.
