Saregama Carvaan audio player is a success in the Indian market and is used by many people for its wide range of pre-loaded songs, customizations and more. The company recently launched Carvaan GO, the company’s latest compact audio player. Expanding the lineup, the company has today launched Carvaan 2.0 with WiFi connectivity, 5000 preloaded songs and more.
The new Carvaan 2.0 is an upgraded version to the original Carvaan and the biggest change in this new model is the WiFi connectivity that it offers. It will allow users to access over 150 daily updated WiFi based audio stations across genres like devotional, health, lifestyle, entertainment and are also curated by Saregama itself. The company claims that between 6 to 60 minutes of new content is added to each station every day and also plans to scale up the number of stations to 1000 in the coming months.
It also comes with a whopping 5000 pre-loaded songs which are mostly Indian classics, evergreen Hindi songs, and devotional tracks. It offers 4 modes — Saregama, USB/AUX IN, FM/AM and Bluetooth. The audio player has dimensions of 28.9 x 22.6 x 8.4 cm and weighs 1.3kgs. It comes with a rechargeable battery that promises to deliver 5 hours playtime approximately.
Apart from this, users can also use the Saregama Carvaan app and browse, listen and play songs on the Carvaan. It is voice search enabled and users can also stream and download songs on the app itself.
Saregama has also launched Carvaan 2.0 Gold alongside the Carvaan 2.0. Carvaan 2.0 Gold comes with Harman Kardon-certified speakers and rest of the specifications and features remain the same.
Carvaan 2.0 comes in Emerald Green and Classic Black colour options and is priced at Rs. 7990, and the Carvaan 2.0 Gold is priced at Rs. 15,990. Both the models are available to buy from Saregama’s official website and will be available in offline stores later.
