Xiaomi launched first quad camera phone Redmi Note 6 Pro in India back in November running MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and recently rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI Global Stable 10.3 for the smartphone. Now, the company has released Android Pie kernel sources for the Redmi Note 6 Pro (codename tulip).
Even though the source code is not useful for normal users, it would be helpful for Android developers and tinkerers who would like to create custom software builds. You can download the kernel source from the GitHub source link below.
Xiaomi has already released Android Pie based source codes for Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro but the company is yet to release Kernel sources for the recently-launched Redmi 7. We will keep you updated as soon as the company releases the source code for it.
