Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) Smartphone Unboxing and First Impressions


HMD Global introduced its budget Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in India last week at Rs. 5,499, here we have the unboxing and first impressions of the smartphone.

The Nokia 1 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M SoC with 1GB RAM. It runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition that comes with a range of Go Edition apps optimized for the phone offering a smooth experience. It has a 2-megapixel camera on the front.

It has a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back. The phone has a polycarbonate back cover which has a smooth finish. There is a Nokia brand in the middle and the loudspeaker grill is present on the bottom part of the back. The body feels cheap, but you can’t expect much for the price. The phone also comes with Xpress On covers in packs of Azure and Grey or Yellow and Pink that are sold separately at an MRP of Rs. 450.

Under the back cover there is a 2150mAh battery. There are also two nano SIM slots along with a microSD card slot that accepts cards up to 128GB. The phone has 4G VoLTE support as well.

It also comes in Warm Red color and it is available from offline retailers across the country.
