This month Airtel partnered with Karbonn to launch A40 Indian 4G VoLTE smartphone at an effective price of Rs. 1399 (Down payment of Rs 2899 and Rs. 1500 cashback after 36 months). It has a 4-inch WVGA touch screen display, is powered by a quad-core Spreadturm SC9832A processor with 1GB of RAM, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and comes with a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
It has 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a removable plastic back cover. The phone has usual set of connectivity features and has 4G VoLTE support.
Removing the back cover reveals a 1400mAh removable battery, dual standard SIM slots and an expansion slot that lets you expand the 8GB internal storage with up to 32GB microSD card. The phone is available from retail stores across the country.
