LG unveiled LG G6+ smartphone with 128GB storage and support for Qi wireless charging and the LG G6 32GB version in Korea last week. Today the company has launched these smartphones in its home ground through all the three major domestic carriers. In addition to G6+ branding, there will also be B&O logo on the back of the LG G6+ in the Korean version.
Both the versions support LG Pay payment service that works through four credit card brands — Shinhan, KB, BC and Lotte, which will be expanded to more banks by September.
LG already confirmed that an update to the G6 series will bring face recognition function that recognizes the user’s face, even if the screen is turned off, new low-power algorithm powered by Qualcomm’s All-Ways Aware technology that lowers standby power when a user is not using the phone by knowing the user’s location and movement and Covered Lens warning will inform you when a wide-angle camera is used, so it prevent fingers from blocking the camera when taking a photo.

The LG G6+ comes in Optical Astro Black, Optical Terra Gold and Optical Marine Blue colors and is priced at 957,000 won (US$ 834 / Rs. 54,060 approx.) and the LG G6 32GB version comes in Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Mystic White colors and costs 819,500 won (US$ 714 / Rs. 46,275 approx.). LG G6+ comes with free display replacement for 1 year. With LG G6 32GB version B&O PLAY earphone worth 200,000 won will be available for 5,000 won.
