Xiaomi is expanding its offline reach beyond China region and as a result has opened up its first overseas Mi Home store in Singapore. So far the company has its Mi Home stores in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The Singapore Mi Home store will be offering Xiaomi’s limited range of products as of now, this includes portable speakers, power banks alongside the Redmi 3S, Redmi Note 3, Mi 5, Mi Max, and Mi Band 2. But the company intends to provide its complete range of products soon. The store is situated at 3 Temasek Boulevard, Suntec City Mall, #02 – 337-340, Singapore 038983 and is open from Monday to Sunday, 11am to 9pm.
Reportedly, Xiaomi will now shift its focus to India and is expected to launch its first Mi Home store in the country soon. For the company, India is their second largest market for the mobiles outside China.
It launched Mi Air Purifier 2, its first Mi Ecosystem product in India. It has built-in WiFi 802.11n that connects to your home WiFi network so that you can access it via Mi Home app for Android and iOS. The Mi Air Purifier 2 is priced at Rs. 9,999.
