Honor Note 8 with Quad HD display, 4GB RAM to be announced on August 1

Huawei’s honor brand recently unveiled the honor 8 smartphone in China and it confirmed the honor Note 8 smartphone with a Quad HD display in a teaser last week. Today the company has confirmed that it will be announced at an event on August 1st.

According to a recent TENAA certification, the phone will have a 6.6-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, will come in Kirin 950/955 variants with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and pack a 4400mAh battery. It is also expected to feature full metal unibody design.

The Honor Note 8 event takes place at Beijing Exhibition Center on August 1st and it starts at 2PM China time (11:30 AM IST).
