Hyve Mobility, a new smartphone company based in New Delhi is all set to launch its flagship smartphone on June 2nd. The company is headed by Sharad Mehrotra, who was previously Apple India’s enterprise mobility head. He quit Apple in December 2015, after working there for almost 8 years and started Hyve Mobility in January 2016 to develop Android smartphones.
Sharad along with Aditya Agarwal and Abhishek Agarwal co-founded Hyve Mobility. The team also boasts of professionals from Ingram and Redington. The invite just reads – A Storm This Summer. Come, Feel The Buzz. Join us as we transform the Android landscape without giving any details about the smartphone.
The company’s CEO Sharad Mehrotra earlier this year said that the flagship smartphone will be priced between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000. Another report said that the company will launch two flagships, one in the price range of Rs 9,000 and other below Rs 15,000 next month. We will have to wait for next Thursday to know more about the phones.
