YU has launched developer challenge for ROM developers to bring AOSP Android 6.0 Marshmallow ROM for all YU devices – Yureka, Yureka Plus, Yuphoria and Yunique. “We will support with all the tools that may need during this process such as Tutorials, guidance, devices, anything that helps you accomplish this,” said the company.
While the best ROM will be supported by YU and stable builds will be worked around it, top 3 ROMs for each category will stand to win exciting prizes as well. We believe in partnering and bringing the best forward to the YU clan and we are excited and hopeful that this challenge will bring forth a worthy ROM.
Deadline for the submission is 10th December 2015, 11:59 AM, and the testing period is 2 weeks. “While a single contributor is allowed to participate, we will accept only one entry per team / individual,” said YU. 1st prize is Rs. 1 lakh (For each device), 2nd prize is Rs. 50,000 (For each device) and 3rd prize is Rs. 25,000 (For each device).
