Motorola recently updated Motorola Camera and Motorola Gallery apps that adds new features. The new Motorola Camera app v5.0.47.7 brings new QR or barcode reader support for older devices that can support it. The latest Motorola Gallery update v520012 brings Album creation support.
Motorola Camera now allows you to recognize and act on Barcodes or QR codes directly from the camera viewfinder. This is supported on the Moto X (2nd Gen.), Moto X Pro, DROID Turbo, and Moto Maxx/Turbo running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). The Motorola Gallery’s Album Creation support lets you create albums so that you can organize your photos and videos. You can save albums to SD cards or phone storage.
The Motorola Gallery app got updated with improved Camera roll view with sorting by event and time, material design enhancements and a range of other features. Check for new Motorola Camera and Gallery updates for Motorola smartphones on Google Play, if you have not done it yet.
