Microsoft Translator for Android and Android Wear

Microsoft has released Translator app for Android, Android Wear, iOS devices and Apple Watch. The app is mainly for smartwatches since the Android and iOS apps have a simple layout. It lets you translate instantly in 50 languages using voice or text. You can translate even faster by pinning your most commonly used translations and settings to your watch screen for easy access, and browse your history of recently used phrases, said the company. It has option to select English accents spoken in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States.

The companion apps for iPhone and Android also let you manage your settings and translate right from your phone or when you prefer to translate typed text. The app uses the same technology used by Office, Bing, Skype, Internet Explorer as well as partners such as Twitter, Yelp, eBay, Amazon Kindle, WeChat and many more, said Microsoft.
