Nokia India reducing Price of Phones in Maharashtra to tackle VAT ?


There is some interesting news that Nokia India might be reducing the prices of Mobile Phones in Mumbai and Maharashtra to tackle the price difference in the state due to high VAT

While were are waiting for confirmation about this news , we checked with a couple dealers in Mumbai.

They were are quoting the Rest of India price for the Nokia E72. Most are still quoting the higher price of around Rs.20-21000 for Nokia E72 whereas it’s available in Rest of India for Rs.18400.

FoneArena  has learnt that Nokia is normalizing the prices of it’s phones all over India in a move to increase sales and reduce confusion amongst dealers and to tackle different Tax rates across the country
