Samsung has started rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900) smartphone in India. It rolled out Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the smartphone back in January last year. Samsung started rolling out Lollipop update for Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 users in some regions last month. The Galaxy S4 got the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update in India last month.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update brings all-new material design, quick notifications on the lock screen, enhanced performance and more. After the update the available memory will be decreased by minimum 950MB, says Samsung.

The Android 5.0 update for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900) is 837.27MB and is available Over-the-Air (OTA) in India. It should also be available via Kies soon. The company has not rolled out the Lollipop update for Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 users in India yet.
