Huawei Ascend Mate Unboxing

Huawei Ascend Mate Unboxing-1

The Huawei Ascend Mate was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January and has then evaded the Indian market until now. Today, the company has launched its ambitious phablet device with a massive 6.1 inch screen at a price tag of Rs. 24,900, just weeks after Samsung continued their trend of releasing phablet devices with the Galaxy Mega series. The Indian market seems to have likened to the big screen phenomena and the Ascend Mate is hoping to address at least a part of it. The device just landed in our labs and here is our ritualistic unboxing video below –

The Ascend Mate is packaged in a seemingly small box but as it is revealed, we see that the whole device almost spans the height and width of the box, which is a testament in itself to the massive scale of the device. Here are the box contents –

Includes a travel charging adapter, a stereo headset with mic, user manuals and the standard micro USB cable. It was good to note that all the box contents were of high quality. Here is a quick look at the back of the device –
