ASUS Padfone shows off Krait S4 MSM8960 internals in benchmark database

Tempted by the category straddling ASUS Padfone ? If performance related concerns were holding back your decision then you have one less worry. GLBenchmark’s public results database has shown that the Tablet + Phone combination packs in a Krait S4 MSM8960 chip.

One of the newest chips on the block , the Qualcomm SoC brings support for a wide range of frequencies including HSPA+ and LTE. The chipset also carries the Adreno 225 GPU. The phone-tablet will launch with Gingerbread onboard but is expected to get the ICS treatment very soon.
