Aircel launches Huawei IDEOS in India with Android 2.2 at Rs.8499

Yet another Android handset under Rs.10000 ! Aircel is launching the Huawei IDEOS running Android 2.2 in India for Rs.8499 as an introductory offer !

Specs include 3G, WiFi , WiFi Hotspot and Android 2.2 . Huawei announced the IDEOS back in September last year and it’s finally hitting India.

Aircel will offer 2GB per month on Postpaid and the handset is available  at Aircel outlets and  The Mobile Store outlets.

    Which model is Huawei IDEOS? X5 or X6? or is it a seperate phone by Huawei?

     Aircel is really working a great deal on their customer service. It was good and getting better and better.

    THere are THREE ideos models.

    Just plain ‘Ideos’
    then, Ideos X5 and Ideos X6

    “Sucks” I thought it would be around 7000 rs. If it costs this much then i am going for brands like samsung and sony ericson compared to a chinese manufacturer.

    this mobile actual cost is around 5-6k but they r selling it in 8k.
    this phone and micromax a60 are similar in features and performance which is 2k less than it

    What do you mean by china phone? All the computer brands like Dell,Acer,Hp are making their product in china. And Huawei a branded company with its usb modem are a gra=eat product in global market.

    Aircel Koramangala office and Brigade road office did not have even a single IDEOS HANDSET AND THEY ARE NOT READY TO SELL IT TO CUSTOMERS.

    this mobile is very good because 512mb rom,256mb ram, 200mb internal memory,wifi sharing with 8 devices at atime,android 2.2 os,3g hsdpa,7.2mbps modem inbult,voice,light sensors,3.2 mp cemera,2.8 inch tough screen.
    this mobile available in sangeeta mobile stores 7,380 rs only so this very good price and excelent features present mobile
    only one drawback that is video calling not available

    Am using ideos 2.2 ….how to upgrade to 2.3
