Xiaomi launched Mi Max 2 phablet in India earlier this week for Rs. 16,999, which went on sale in the country today during Mi 3rd anniversary sale. We already brought you the unboxing of the Mi Max 2, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 5300mAh (typical) / 5200mAh (minimum) built-in battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 along with parallel charging that promises to charge the phone up to 68% in one hour. It has 6.44-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by the power-efficient Snapdragon 625 14nm Mobile Platform and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat).

It lasted for 51 hours and 7 minutes in our talk time test and topped the charts.

3G Browsing

It lasted for 12 hours and 37 minutes in our 3G Browsing test, but it couldn’t beat the Lenovo P2.

Charging Time

It took 2 hours and 17 minutes to charge the phone fully, thanks to Quick Charge 3.0 and parallel charging. It took about 45 minutes to charge from 0 to 50%. This is good for a phone with a huge battery, but it couldn’t beat the Lenovo P2.
