Xiaomi has announced Mi Notebook Air, the company’s first Windows 10 laptop, along with the Redmi Pro at an event in China. It comes in 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models with 1080p displays with 5.71mm and 5.59mm ultra-narrow borders, respectively. It has a full metal body with 135-degree opening and closing hinge. The 12.5-inch model is just 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.07kg and the 13.3-inch model is 14.8mm thick, compared to 17mm thick MacBook Air and weighs just 1.28kg.
It has full-sized backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel, 3nits brightness and glass trackpad for precise cursor control and multi-finger gesture controls such as scrolling program switching, zoom and other gestures. It has support for 1C fast charging technology so that it takes on half an hour to charge the laptop to 50%.

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air comes in Gold and Silver colors. The 12.5-inch version is priced at 3499 yuan (US$ 524 / Rs. 35,260 approx.) and the 13.3-inch version costs 4999 yuan (US$ 749 / Rs. 50,355 approx.). It will go on sale in China from August 2nd.
