You might have seen new ads on TV featuring the company’s brand ambassador Hugh Jackman. The smartphone finally went on sale recently, and here we have the unboxing.

The Canvas Sliver 5 has a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. It runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It is just 5.1mm thick end-to-end without any bumps. It weighs just 97 grams.
The frame has shiny gold rim on the sides that is made of aircraft grade aluminum. It has NXP Smart PA audio chip and Dirac HD audio technology that offers the best audio experience.
It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX219 sensor, Blue Glass Filter, LED flash and 1080p video recording. The back cover doesn’t attract scratches. It has 4G LTE support (FDD-1800/2600/800 MHz & TDD-2300MHz), 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 2000mAh battery. It comes with double data offer for Airtel customers for 3 months.
