Xiaomi has introduced 16000mAh Mi Power Bank and 5000mAh Slim Power Bank in India. Both these have anodised aluminium finish on the outside, similar to earlier Mi Power Banks. The 16000mAh power bank is compact, even though it packs 16000mAh battery, but weighs 350 grams. The 5000mAh portable power bank is just 9.9mm thick and weighs 156grams.
The 16000mAh power bank has two slots, each offering 2.1A output to charge two devices at a time. It has five 3200mAh batteries inside, manufactured by LG or Panasonic and promises conversion rate of 90%. The 5000mAh power bank has 9 circuit protection, promises 93% charging conversion rate and has 2.1A output.
The Xiaomi 16000mAh Mi Power Bank and the 5000mAh slim Power Bank are priced at Rs. 1399 and Rs. 699 in India, respectively. Xiaomi is asking you to vote for the power bank that you want first, which will go on sale in India on June 9th. The 16000mAh power bank is leading by a huge margin with 83% votes, so we will likely see this power bank go on sale first. The voting ends June 2nd.
