Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ with 6.1″ / 6.6″ FHD+ 120Hz adaptive AMOLED display, 50MP camera announced

Samsung just announced its flagship Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ 5G smartphones at its Galaxy Unpacked online event, as it had promised. These pack a 6.1 /6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O flat Displays with 48-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. These are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 / Exynos 2200 4nm 5G SoCs depending on the market. The phones feature an in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner and run Android 12 with OneUI 4.1. Samsung Galaxy S22 series pricing surface ahead of announcement on February 9

Last week, Samsung confirmed its Galaxy Unpacked event in February. Now, the pricing for the entire Galaxy S22 series have surfaced in Europe. This reveals that the Galaxy S22 will start at €849 and €1049 starting price for the S22+, same as the S21 and S21+ released last year, but the €1,249 price tag for the S22 Ultra 8GB + 128GB is more since the company launched the 12GB + 128GB S21 Ultra model for the same price last year.
