MediaTek already announced its Dimensity 800U mid-range 5G SoC in India earlier this month and said that the first phone powered by the mid-range 5G processor will be launched in the country in January 2021. Today it has announced the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip for the Indian market and said that it expects smartphones powered by the flagship chip to launch in early in 2021.
