Fitbit to slash 6% of workforce, 6.4 million devices sold in Q4 2016

Fitbit has announced preliminary results for Q4 2016. The company is slashing 6 percent of its global workforce which is 110 of its employees as a result of disappointing fourth quarter financials.

Recession hits Nokia too

Well the last fiscal quarter was really brutal and in a sense really thrashed almost every company man kind knew left right. Nokia too suffered a slight loss in its marginal sales and its percentage hold in the world market share. Even then it managed to sell a million plus Nokia 5800 and also launch a hugely innovative sales campaign for it. But then it is closing its (Jyvaskyla) Jyväskylä site and scaling back at its Salo production facility (pictured).
