Amazon introduces new Fire TV with 4K HDR, Dolby Atmos audio

After rumors, Amazon has introduced its new Fire TV in a new dongle design and support for 4K Ultra HD at 60 fps, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Alexa Voice Remote that lets you search Amazon Video content using just your voice. You can also pair Fire TV to Echo devices to enjoy hands-free, far-field voice control, powered by Alexa. It is also much lighter than the 2015 model at just 87 grams. Amazon has finally unveiled the rumored Fire TV streaming box along with its Fire game controller. It plugs into your HDTV and lets you stream movies and TV shows at up to 1080p resolution, listen to songs, use apps, play games and more. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 pro processor, 2GB RAM and has 8GB of internal storage. It runs on Android-based OS Fire OS called Mojito, similar to the Kindle Fire tablets.
