Sony India has introduced the new BRAVIA 9II 115-inch (292 cm) model, adding the largest screen size to its BRAVIA television lineup. With this launch, Sony’s True RGB BRAVIA portfolio now covers screen sizes ranging from 55-inch (140 cm) to 115-inch (292 cm).
The current True RGB BRAVIA lineup includes:
- BRAVIA 7II: 55-inch (140 cm), 65-inch (165 cm), 75-inch (190 cm) and 85-inch (215 cm)
- BRAVIA 9II: 75-inch (190 cm), 85-inch (215 cm) and the new 115-inch (292 cm) model
Sony also mentioned its association with filmmaker and BRAVIA brand ambassador S.S. Rajamouli, who has represented the brand since 2024.
Sony BRAVIA 9II 115-inch True RGB Television
The BRAVIA True RGB televisions use Sony’s RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro technology, which independently controls RGB LEDs. Sony says the technology achieves the largest colour volume in its home TV history and supports a wider colour gamut, contrast control, depth and smoother gradation.
The TVs come with X-Wide Angle Pro, which maintains accurate colours and consistent picture quality from different viewing angles. The lineup also includes Luminance Booster Pro for increasing brightness while maintaining colour accuracy, and Smooth Colour Gradation to reduce colour banding and provide smoother tonal transitions.
The Immersive Black Screen Pro feature is available on BRAVIA 9II models except the 115-inch (292 cm) variant. It uses a glare-free, low-reflection screen treatment to improve black levels and show more details in darker scenes.
The BRAVIA 9II 115-inch model features Acoustic Multi-Audio+ with a 12-speaker system consisting of:
- Two subwoofers
- Eight full-range speakers
- Two tweeters
The True RGB BRAVIA televisions run on Google TV, offering access to movies, TV shows, apps and games through a personalised interface. Sony has also confirmed that Gemini for Google TV will be available through a future over-the-air update for supported televisions.
