OPPO India has started rolling out the June 2026 ColorOS 16 update for supported devices. The update introduces the Sports Widget, Audio Sharing, Accessibility Security Alerts, Weather app enhancements, Outdoor Mode improvements, and additional interface enhancements.
Sports Widget
ColorOS 16 introduces the Sports Widget, allowing users to follow world football tournaments directly from the Home Screen or Shelf.
The widget provides:
- Match schedules
- Live scores
- Match updates
With AI Suggest, match information is automatically pushed to the Home Screen and Shelf 30 minutes before the first match on a match day. Users can also manually add the Sports Widget to either location for quick access to match updates with fewer interruptions and less app switching.
Audio Sharing
The June 2026 update introduces Audio Sharing, enabling a compatible OPPO smartphone to stream audio to two connected Bluetooth earphones simultaneously. The feature allows two users to listen to audio from a single smartphone while watching movies, sharing music, or during travel.
Accessibility Security Alerts
ColorOS 16 adds Accessibility Security Alerts to help users identify potentially risky Accessibility permission activity.
If an application installed from an unknown source receives Accessibility access, the system displays a real-time notification with the option to revoke the permission instantly. Running in the background, the feature helps users monitor potentially risky permission activity.
Weather app enhancements
The Weather app now includes Moonrise and Moonset timings alongside live Moon Phase information.
The additional information is integrated into the Weather app, providing contextual environmental details that may be useful for outdoor activities, photography, or tracking lunar conditions.
Outdoor Mode improvements
The update expands Outdoor Mode with additional usability enhancements.
Users can now pin up to four frequently used apps for quicker access while outdoors. The update also improves app transitions and location responsiveness while Outdoor Mode is active.
Additional updates
The June 2026 update also introduces:
- Support for capturing 2K screenshots through Game Capture for higher-resolution gameplay images.
- App Suggestions in the Categories view of the app drawer, surfacing frequently used applications for quicker access and more streamlined navigation.
Availability
According to OPPO India, the June 2026 ColorOS 16 update is being rolled out in phases for supported OPPO devices.
The rollout begins on June 1, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude by June 30, 2026.
