OPPO Watch X3 with 1.5″ LTPO OLED screen, Snapdragon W5 chip, Wear OS 6 + RTOS, titanium case goes global

OPPO has officially introduced its newest flagship smartwatch, the Watch X3, in conjunction with the launch of its latest imaging smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra for the global markets, after it was introduced in China last month. The Watch X3 focuses on a lightweight titanium build, extended battery endurance, and comprehensive health-tracking capabilities.

Design and Build Quality

The Watch X3 utilizes an aerospace-grade titanium alloy chassis, a material selected for its high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and skin-friendly properties. Through material and structural modifications, OPPO has reduced the overall footprint of the device compared to its predecessor.

Key Design Specifications:

  • Weight: 43g (13.4% lighter than the Watch X2)
  • Thickness: 11mm (6.3% thinner than the Watch X2)
  • Durability: IP69-rated for water and dust resistance
  • Color Options:
    •  Misty Titanium: Features cut decorative elements and rivet detailing.
    • Obsidian Black: Features a traditional, darker aesthetic inspired by classic luxury watches.
Battery Life and Dual-Engine Architecture

OPPO continues its use of dual-chip systems with the Watch X3, integrating a proprietary Dual-Engine Architecture. This system utilizes a performance chip to run Wear OS for demanding tasks and an efficiency microcontroller unit (MCU) to run a lightweight real-time operating system (RTOS) for background operations. The watch intelligently switches between the two systems to optimize power consumption.

The device is powered by a 646mAh OPPO Silicon-Carbon Battery, which utilizes up to 10% silicon content to increase energy density within a slim form factor.

Power Mode Estimated Battery Life
Smart Mode Up to 5 Days
Power Saver Mode Up to 16 Days
Health Monitoring and Fitness Tracking

The smartwatch is equipped with over 100 sports modes to provide performance metrics and progress analysis for various activities. In addition to standard fitness tracking, the Watch X3 features advanced health monitoring hardware.
