POCO just launched the POCO X8 Pro Max smartphone alongside the POCO X8 Pro, as it had promised. The phone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K screen that uses new M10 material, which significantly improves luminous efficiency and supports 3500 nits peak brightness.
This is India’s first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, which adopts a flagship-level 3nm process, an all-large core architecture, and a large cache. The phone features the same flagship-level 3D ice-loop cooling system with a 5800 mm² VC cooling. It runs Android 16 with Hyper OS 3 out of the box and will get 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
In terms of design, the POCO X8 Pro Max features a CNC metal frame, a flagship fiberglass back panel, a metal racetrack-shaped Deco design, and dynamic RGB LEDs around the cameras. There is a flagship-level ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and it has IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance ratings.
It is equipped with a 50MP high dynamic range main camera with Light Fusion 600 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 20MP front camera.
In terms of battery life, this phone is equipped with a 9000mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging, the 100W PPS charging protocol, and 27W wired reverse charging.

The POCO X8 Pro Max comes in Black, White and Blue colours and is priced at Rs. 42,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and the 12GB + 512GB model costs Rs. 46,999.
