Lava has launched the Storm Lite 5G and Storm Play 5G budget smartphones, as it had promised. The phones pack a 6.75-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD screen. The Storm Lite is one of the first phones to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, has 4GB of RAM and packs a 50MP rear camera.
The Storm Play is one of the first phones to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor and is the first in the segment with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This has an additional 2MP secondary camera. Both the phones feature an 8MP front camera.
These pack a 5000mAh battery with 15W and 18W charging, respectively, and run clean Android 15 without any bloatware. The company has promised 1 Android upgrade and 2 years of security updates for the phones.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G comes in Astral Blue and Cosmic Titanium colours and is priced starting at Rs. 7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model, which the company says is a limited-period price. It will be available from Amazon.in starting from June 19th at 12 noon.
The Lava Storm Play 5G is priced at Rs.9,999 for the single 6GB + 128GB model, which is a limited-period price. It will be available from Amazon.in starting from June 24th at 12 noon.
