nubia today released nubia 4.0 software update for the Nubia Z9 mini that was launched in India back in 2015. Still the Android version is 5.1 after the update but this brings VoLTE support along with Android security patch and camera upgrade.
The nubia 4.0 UI includes nubia’s patented Frame interactive Technology that lets you control your phone through the screen edges. nubia says that the nubia 4.0 UI finds a balance between elegant simplicity in flat design and novel Skeuomorphism design, full of bright color and clever interactions. It also says that the completely overhauled system optimization offers smoother experience.
The update is not available over-the-air (OTA). You need to download the file manually and flash it on the phone. You can find the ROM and find the instructions on nubia India website here.
