Excessive Mobile use now increases the risk of Mouth Cancer! – American Report

Latest research was published in the American Journal of Epidemiology claims that five years of frequent mobile use increases the chances of developing a tumour by about 50 per cent compared with people who have never used one.

The report raises obvious concerns for people who may be heavy users of mobile phones.

That is not to see that people must stop using mobile phones entirely – the need to be more aware while buying phones. Next time you decide to buy a new Nokia or Motorola, be sure to inquire about health and safety hazards.

There have been reports before this one that claim that there really are no side effects of using a mobile phone. Just to be on the safer side it is better to check the specifications of the phone.
There have been studies, which have shown that laptops cause impotency etc. – well I’ve been using my laptop for a long time and I don’t see any harmful signs :p.

Obviously mobile phones have been extremely beneficial in more ways than one can imagine so the additional health hazards are a tiny price one has to pay. I am pretty sure that in the coming months, there will be products developed that will negate these ill effects. I just hope that the cost of these products is borne by the phone companies and not passed on to the consumer.
