Dhingana launches music streaming service on mobile web


Dhingana, popular online music streaming service in India has launched its service on mobile web. This would let the users listen to music from a collection of half a million songs in 38 Indian languages and genres from the web browser on their mobile phone without downloading any external application. Gaana.com launched music apps for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and Java phones few weeks back.

Even though people have started moving to smartphones, there are still huge population in India that uses feature phones. This new service from Dhingana is aimed at the low-end feature phone users who could access music for free through the mobile web.

Mobile phone users can visit m.dhingana.com from the phone’s browser to access songs from the Dhingana’s music library. Dhingana already has iPhone, iPadBlackBerryAndroid, and Nokia apps that has crossed over 3.5 million downloads.
