At its latest product launch event, iQOO officially unveiled the iQOO Pad Pro 8.8-inch tablet that is positioned as a compact, gaming-focused device, after the iQOO Pad Ultra.
Core Processing and Architecture
The tablet operates on a dual-chip platform led by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with iQOO’s proprietary Q3 gaming chip. System operations and performance distribution are managed by the Monster super-core engine, designed to dynamically allocate compute resources during demanding workloads.
Graphics processing is supported by the Q3 chip alongside the QNSS super-rendering engine. Together, they enable 2K super-resolution, full-scene ray tracing, and lossless frame interpolation across supported game titles. Additional display and control features include an FPS dark area enhancement filter, multi-finger jitter suppression, edge anti-mistouch zoning, and an ultra-sensitive gyroscope operating at up to a 500Hz sampling rate.
Thermal Architecture
To manage thermal output in high-load scenarios, the iQOO Pad Pro 8.8″ integrates an active-passive cooling architecture labeled the Ice Dome quad-layer air-cooling system:
- Active Cooling: A 30 × 30 × 3.5 mm internal cooling fan generating up to 0.94 CFM of airflow, supported by dual-directional air intakes.
- Passive Dissipation: Dual vapor chamber (VC) cooling plates and high thermal conductivity graphite sheets, contributing to a total heat dissipation area exceeding 23,000 mm².
- Performance Metric: Under internal testing in a large-scale open-world mobile title at ultra-high settings and 60fps target mode, the device recorded an average frame rate of 60.2 fps.

The iQOO Pad Pro is equipped with an 8.8-inch OLED panel featuring a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio and 2.65mm narrow black borders:

Powering the device is a 9,020 mAh “Blue Ocean” battery built on fourth-generation silicon-carbon anode and second-generation semi-solid-state battery technologies:

- Operating Range: Stable operational discharge supported across temperatures ranging from -20°C to 40°C.
