Samsung India today launched its 2026 Bespoke AI appliances lineup in India. At ‘The Brief Gurugram’, Samsung demonstrated how AI connects climate control, laundry, living room, and kitchen appliances through the SmartThings platform.
The lineup combines AI-powered appliances with connected features, including intuitive touchscreens, advanced voice intelligence, and inclusive design. Samsung said the ecosystem can learn habits, automate tasks, and optimize energy consumption through SmartThings.
Samsung 2026 Bespoke AI appliance lineup
The lineup includes the Family Hub Refrigerator with AI Vision built with Google Gemini, Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner, and Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree.
- Family Hub Refrigerator with AI Vision built with Google Gemini: Equipped with contextual Al experiences like Search for Video Recipes, the 32-inch Family Hub serves as a central space, Now Brief, Notes, schedules, and entertainment. Localised features include Family Care and Pet Care.
- Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner: The AC features AI-enabled controls and PM1.0 purification, along with scalable climate management through SmartThings and Home Appliance Remote Management (HRM).
- Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree: The AC offers draft-free cooling through 23,000 micro-holes and can reduce energy use by up to 30% with AI Energy Mode. It also supports remote control through SmartThings and HRM, along with intuitive temperature control features.
AI Home, Bixby and SmartThings
Samsung uses its AI Home screen, Bixby voice assistant, Knox security, and SmartThings connectivity across the 2026 Bespoke AI appliance ecosystem. Built into select devices, the AI Home screen provides a central interface for managing appliances, viewing real-time insights, and accessing entertainment and family communication features.
The upgraded Bixby voice assistant supports voice commands and Voice ID, which recognizes individual users and personalizes their experience. SmartThings Family Care can send alerts in unusual situations, such as inactivity at scheduled times. Through the SmartThings app, Pet Care provides:
- Activity tracking
- Breed-based health insights
- Reminders for walks and care routines
Samsung’s enhanced Knox Security provides multi-layered protection across devices, while its software update service through SmartThings now offers seven years of updates.
The Bespoke AI lineup is centred around four pillars: AI Understands You, AI Adapts to You, AI Connects Your Home, and AI Cares for You.
AI Understands You
The Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub uses AI Vision and AI Food Manager for food recognition, recipe suggestions, and use-by date management. It also provides daily information and supports meal planning through SmartThings and Samsung Health.
- AI Vision: Recognizes food items.
- AI Food Manager: Suggests recipes and helps manage use-by dates.
- Now Brief: Provides personalized daily updates, including schedules, weather, and family care information.
- SmartThings and Samsung Health: Enable calorie-aware meal planning.
AI Adapts to You
The WindFree ACs combine cooling controls with sleep-related features. These include:
- AI Energy Mode: Provides efficient, low-noise cooling.
- Wearable Good Sleep: Works with Galaxy Wearables to adjust AC settings based on individual sleep patterns.
- Triple Motion Wings: Provides airflow control, allowing users to direct cooling where it is needed.
AI Connects Your Home
SmartThings built into select appliances enables connected experiences across the home. The features include:
- Top Mount Refrigerator: Energy Saving mode and Power Cool/Freeze.
- 2-in-1 Smart Conversion: Provides flexible storage options.
- Closet & Pantry Monitoring: Helps households monitor their belongings.
AI Cares for You
The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo uses AI-powered functions to adjust washing and drying based on fabric types, while connected services support appliance updates, monitoring, and service.
- AI Wash & Dry: Detects fabric types and adjusts the wash and drying cycle accordingly.
- Pet Care Wash Cycle: Cleans pet accessories.
- Smart Forward Software Updates: Allow appliances to receive new features over time.
- SmartThings Home Care: Supports appliance monitoring.
- Home Appliance Remote Management (HRM): Supports appliance monitoring and service.
Samsung said the Bespoke AI ecosystem integrates artificial intelligence, connectivity, and security across different home appliance categories, with devices working together through SmartThings.
Pricing and availability
The Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC is available in 3.5 kW, 5.2 kW, and 7.1 kW cooling capacities. The 2026 Bespoke AI appliances are available through authorised channel partners nationwide, with pricing as follows:
- Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree: Starting at Rs. 1,60,000
- Family Hub Refrigerator: Rs. 4,00,690
- Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner: Rs. 69,990
