
Wearable technology brand Fire-Boltt has announced its official entry into the smartphone industry with the launch of its new sub-brand, boltt. The Made-in-India smartphones will be distributed nationwide, leveraging an e-commerce partnership with Flipkart alongside other retail channels.
The strategic expansion follows Fire-Boltt’s growth in the smart wearable segment, where the company reports a connected consumer ecosystem exceeding 40 million (4 crore) users. This move positions the firm to transition from a specialized wearables manufacturer into a broader consumer technology entity.
According to the company, the upcoming boltt product portfolio will focus on the affordable segment, featuring both 4G and 5G devices divided across two distinct lines: the Evo series and the Ace series. Fire-Boltt stated that the devices are designed around reliability, performance, and accessibility tailored to the domestic market.
Manufacturing for the smartphone lineup will take place locally, aligning with India’s domestic manufacturing initiatives. To support the nationwide rollout, Fire-Boltt is partnering with Flipkart, aiming to utilize the e-commerce platform’s logistics infrastructure and distribution network, particularly across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Fire-Boltt indicated that specific product specifications, pricing, and exact availability dates for the Evo and Ace series portfolios will be disclosed in the coming weeks.
